    Hi
What is the correct way to update bios to WIN_R610_03LK.

I tried windows 7 x64 which installed fine but once I put in the graphics driver system justs reboots saying hardware problems, once I restore back its fine. Any advise would be great

    Hi Stanna,

You will be happy to know that it is quite painless. Just download the exe file from samsung and run it from windows (as administrator just to be safe!!!) Instructions are here.

I've still to have a blue screen or reboot - so I'm hoping this is a perm fix for x64 :D

No problem Stanna, it baffles me why Samsung do not list what has been updated in the BIOS release. It baffles me more when I get a response like this from their customer support:

"The release of Windows 7 will be treated in the same way as Windows Vista in that the drivers should be released around the same time as the operating system becomes available to the public. At the same time Samsung will continue with driver development for previous Windows versions such as Vista and XP."

But, all is working fine. I'm currently running Sql Server 2008, Visual Studio 2008 with IIS7 and all is stable as anything - I'm finally very happy!!
