My uncle gave me Samsung NP300E5A to checking. Laptop has strangest issue that I have ever seen in my life. Left clicking on desktop icon (double click too) displays few prompts (one by one) about deleting selected file. In file explorer clicking behaviour is the same. No matter if I am using mouse or touchpad.

I thought it was virus. So I installed Microsoft Antivirus Essenstial, Spy Bot Search & Destroy, HiJack etc. No luck. Reinstall Windows (Win7 Home). It's the same issue. Format system partion and install Win7 Pro. It's the same issue. I have no idea what is wrong. I am starting thinking that it is hardware issue.

Could someone give me any advice?

    1. See if the same happens if you boot Windows in Safe Mode (press F8 just after the BIOS screen shows - may require several attempts to get the timing right). Safe Mode uses a very basic driver set.
    2. Create a Live Linux CD and run it. It will not change the Windows installation but if you get the same malfunction in Linux then it confirms that it is hardware.

Linux working OK suggests the hardware is fine but Windows getting messed up somehow. If you contact Samsung they will be wanting you to reinstall the factory image (press F4 at the BIOS screen will start the process provided the recovery partition has not been deleted). Seeing whether or not that works OK before any driver updates or software installation is the next test.

Very weird. If it works OK using a freshly restored factory image onto which nothing has been installed / updated then we have to suspect the hardware even though it works OK with Linux.

Perhaps it's time to contact Samsung support, assuming you are still in warranty, and tell them that the problem still occurs with a freshly restored factory image (which is likely to be the first step they want you do).
