    Hello.

I have a problem with my Samsung NP530U4C.
I installed Windows 8 but with DVD (MSDN), no recovery partition.
All was ok but i don't can select other boot priority in BIOS... only Windows Boot Manager.

Why? Who has, how can i repair this?
I set Secure Boot to Disabled and it's all time... only Windows Boot Manager.
I can't boot from DVD, HDD etc.
    Only Windows8 from SSD bootin....

    Help me please.

Disable the Fast Boot (or similar name) option in the BIOS. This is enabled by default and skips checking for other bootable devices.

And, in case you don't know, pressing F10 at the BIOS screen will bring up a boot device menu (F10 works on Series 9 and Series 7. I'm not 100% sure about Series 5 but if it doesn't work then try Esc).

When I set OS mode selection to CSM OS and UEFI OS ... I see F10 only Windows Boot Manager.
This is on my SSD partition probably.
My notebook don't see DVD and HDD but i BIOS on first screen I see it... in priority boot NO.

Maybe bios P07ABH has a bug? I upgrade today and later will be ok but... a few reboot and it's broken.
Can i downgrade bios to version P06ABH? How can I do it?

I have, so far, avoided Windows 8 because of the type of problems you are encountering. You might want to read this for the type of problems some people have had.

Downgrading a Samsung BIOS isn't easy but see here for how it can be done.

@intensecrew: I just posted an elaborate response for you over in this thread where you had posted the same question. If I had known you were already in John's capable hands here in this thread, I would have saved the time...

Edit: And reading through this thread now, I am almost certain your problem is the one I mention under (1) over there.
