    Hey!

This is my first post here i hope i can get some help here and maybe help others :)

I have bough a Samsung NP550-P5C S04DE and upgraded it directly after buying from windows 7 to windows 8 ( i guess theres no warranty loss as they were advertising about their drivers so much o_O) so everything worked out quite well but there are some issues i encountered and wanted to know if someone has the same problems and knows how to fix them:

    1. From time to time my laptop makes strange sounds, it sounds like multiple frequencies being modulated, i have attached an mp3 so you can hear what it sounds like, and i guess you noticed already, its a software problem otherwise i couldn't be able to record the sound ;) its totally random when this happens mostly when the facebook sound "plops" or sometimes when i play music or games, the funny thing is that when it happen while playing music i am able to "pause" the sound just by pressing pause and then it continues when pressing play, i can also let the song play and reduce the volume or even shut it off(player) but the sound keeps the same volume o_O its pretty strange, i read in another post that THIS USER had the same problem so if you could tell us if and how you fixed it that would be awesome :D
    2. The next one is that my (i guess hard disk) makes some strange sounds, I'm not sure if this is normal as i have been using some old machine from 1999 till now so you know.. thats totally new to me and I'm not quite sure, it sounds like some crackle if you know what i mean? but it could be just me :) i just hear it from time to time and also some plopping from the speakers especially when shutting the machine down or rebooting etc.
    3. the last one is that my notebook gets pretty hot when gaming (up to 90° i guess) and the GPU starts under clocking itself so the frame rate drops extremely :/ , i read through like ~300 posts about this problem on the same notebook and the p7c too but have to try the solutions listed there even though it would be nice if someone could post them here (if theres some new information you know ;) or if i have overlooked something :) )

well if you need any more information let me know :)
I am looking forward to your answers, thank you in advance

    Sincerely
    Ivan :)

Thank you for the quick answer :)

    I have already done that^^

1.sound is from speakers (behaviour explained in first post) & is muteable
2.sound comes from device "speakers" as you can see its software-side as i can record the audio from capturing it software side (and its pausable like mentioned in first post)
3.I know already that when disabling or restarting the audio device the strange sound disappears and is gone for a (quite long) while but its only a workaround and not a solution :/
4.already tried doesnt have anything in common with windows sounds^^

looking fwd for more replies :)

    Ivan

P.S: I managed to fix the graphicscard issue its now running at 90°C (crysis 2 with dx11 and texture pack on ultra...) with 20fps and thats really good...^^ we'll see if it also works when playing for hours (planetside 2)

    1. What happens if you disable all recording devices?
    2. Disable Bluetooth.
