    Hello,

My laptop got completely bricked, if that's the right term for it. When It tries to boot windows, It only gets to that animated logo in the begining when windows is loading and shows a Blue Screen of Death. Unfortunately, I am unable to read what it says because it restarts itself within less than a second.

I tried pressing, or holding F4 in the beginning so I can get to the Samsung Recovery Solution, but I can't access that. It's like my F4 key doesn't work.
All I can do is get into the BIOS, and that's it.
I tried inserting a windows 7 DVD, but the repair tools there don't work.

Any ideas what to do with it?

It's not completely bricked if you can get into the BIOS. Perhaps an serious problem with the primary HDD (or is it SSD?). F4 recovery will only work if the recovery partition exists and is accessible.

Can you go into command line tools on the Windows DVD and try checking the disk? Alternatively, create and run a Linux live CD or put the disk into a USB enclosure and check it on another computer.

    Thanks for replying.

I ran a disk checking from a widnows 7 dvd, a weird thing was that it coudn't boot it from the first time, but anyway.. it found no pbroblems. I had Linux Mint on a flash drive, so i booted that without any issues and copied over some important data to an external drive. And guess what happened after restarting it again? It logged into windows without error messages, or any problems, I even restarted it again to see if it would boot it, and it did. I wish I knew what had happened...

Thanks for the update. At least the problem is fixed and hopefully will not resurface.

Have you got UEFI enabled in the BIOS?
