Hello everyone, im new to the forum and i saw so many discussion about samsung laptops that i decide to register and ask some questions if its not a problem.

I have bought this computer 6 months ago and it was just perfect but lately i am getting a lot of problems:

    1- Computer getting really hot.
2- When playing a game or when computer is doing some heavy work, laptop fan gets really noisy, like something is stuck in it.
3- Playing games wich before i had 80 fps on 1600x900 MAX SPECS, and now i get arround 40 fps with minimum specs and 1024x768.
4- I am getting massive FPS drops while playing games after some period of time (2-4 FPS).

What i would like to ask is:

Should i send it directly to Samsung? Theres any way i can fix it myself without loosing the warranty?

Thanks and sorry for my bad english.

I wonder if the cooling system is getting clogged up. Have you had the computer sitting on a soft surface while gaming? If so, the fluff gets sucked in through the bottom vents.

One further diagnostic is to check the amount and temperature of the hot air being blown out of the computer when the CPU / GPU are loaded. If the airflow is small then it probably indicates clogging and if the air is cool then it may indicate that the heatsink is not properly mounted on the CPU / GPU.

While, officially, Samsung say that removing the base voids the warranty, in reality there are no seals. Get the right size of screwdriver (probably a Philips size 0) and have a look inside. The guide here (although for the older Z5A) should help. You can then see if fluff is the problem (it usually builds up where the fans blow the air through the radiator on the end of the heat pipe). If that is the problem then make a hook using a paperclip and remove it. Or, if that is not the problem, then you can probably figure out if one of the fans itself is dying.

If clogging is not the problem then reassemble and arrange with Samsung for warranty repair since the problem lies with the fan(s) and/or heatsink mounting. Don't mention that you have looked inside.
