Looking for some info for a NP700Z5C (or equivalent) battery. I have two batteries that are not "re-engaging" after I pushed the little 'shutdown' button. I had applied some voltage to the output connector, thinking I was going to charge the battery (and it worked for a bit) but apparently that caused the issue I'm seeing now.
I'm looking for a schematic of this or any similar battery circuit.
here is a pic of the board that is inside the battery case. To the right you see the leads leaving the battery case that would go to the MB. On the very left is the 'shutdown' switch. The battery cells are fully charged. There is a component labelled "F1" that I was thinking might be a fuse, but it doesn't have voltage on either of the leads. Any insight you can provide would be appreciated.

The little switch is to disconnect the battery (Samsung shipped the notebooks with the disconnect enabled to avoid discharge while in transport / storage). The correct behaviour is for the switch to close once external power is detected (ie the notebook is plugged into the AC supply). Unfortunately, I can't help any further.
