Does anyone know why Samsung does not sell their notebooks in the U.S.? The X10 looks like a very nice notebook, but the only place I can find to buy it is Dyanism.

It has little to do with location. LG isn't here because their contracts with IBM and others prevent them from selling directly. Samsung probably has an aversion to the US because competition is so heavy here. They also are behind some notebooks on our market, like one of the Gateway models I believe. I would welcome their entry though, they have a very nice product.

Samsung nbooks are so nice, powerful but very expensive. Here in Turkey the price s over 3000$.I couldnt understand why they provide on these prices...

I went to the Samsung store in Manhattan and played around with an X30,amazing laptop. The sales guy told they are under contract to dell and HP and as a result cannot sell Samsung branded laptops here in the US.
I'm waiting for the X50 to come out in the UK and I'm gonna get my friend over there to ship one over to me.
