They were mentioned in the Samsung news thread.

I think these are aimed at the business community. Both are offered with XP Pro as standard.

The P400 looks very much like the R20 with a matte display and the P500 looks like the R60 with a matte display. I wouldn't be surprised if the shiny display back has also been changed to something more business-like.

The full specs, photos, etc for the P400 and P500 are now available on the Samsung Germany site, listed under Business.

This photo shows the display back is no longer shiny.

I hope these will also be coming to UK and at a reasonable price: Provided those matte displays are good quality then there is a substantial potential market of people who don't want glossy displays.

The P400 and P500 are definitely coming to UK.

They are now listed at dabs.com: P400 and P500. However, the full specs are not yet available and they are not yet in stock.

The P400 and P500 are now listed at DigiUK, which is usually a sign that they are imminent.

One Celeron-powered P500 with a low price, a P500 with the T2330 and a P400 with a T2330. The P400 is shown as having the 8 cell battery which should give about 4 hours, based on the R20 performance.
