    Hi there,
I've recently purchased a Q35 and am quite please so far.
However when it comes to using Skype, there doenst seem to be a built-in microphone? This is seems to be a bit of an omission and is something that is provided on some cheaper laptops!

Back-up plan was to used a Bluetooth headset, but despite the headset being in 'discoverable' mode the laptop doesn't seem to want to pick it up when you search for bluetooth devices (despite picking up the neighbours mobiles etc!).

    Can ich sie mir helfen?

    DANG.

I got mine recently and was loving everything about it - the batt. life / features combined with the impossibly low price. OK, so my Core Duo 2.16 Sony SZ2 does trump it in terms of build quality and it hasn't got a GPU but it's only 150g heavier and practically HALF the original price of the Sony

I hadn't had to use the Mic before, disbelieved you and had to try it now. It doesn't have a built-in Mic  The Mic socket hasn't got a preamp  Unbelievable.

Your best bet is a USB headset. Much more predictable in use than a BT headset, even if you can get one to work with the Samsung.

I use one of these handsets (mine is not US Robotics branded, but is the same) even though my computer has a mic.

I just want to share my experience and preference.
At the first time, I used mic and headset. Not good enough for long duration talk. Need wireless stuff.

Then, my preference was BT headset. The only problem is short battery life. I had to charge every 1.5-2hours talk.

Then accidentally, I found this product http://www.trust.com/products/product.aspx?artnr=14485 (well, there are some brands which based on the same model).
I guessed that this product is based on http://www.yealink.com/en/newest.asp (Model USB-B2K) and I was successfully using driver from yealink. I was really happy until now after I discovered that I could use this device with major VOIP program http://www.yealink.com/en/otherdown.asp (skype, yahoo, google, msn, net2phone). They also update their program regularly.
And the best thing is I could use any fix or wireless phone which I like! :)
Now I am using it with Siemens wireless DECT.
