    Hi there ALL,

I'm pretty certain I've narrowed my choice of laptop to the Samsung Q35 from reading the positive comments on these forums.

I've checked Samsung's website and it ONLY lists (as far as I can tell) the Q35 Red model as NP-Q35T007/SUK.

However, one of the websites I was looking at www.microanvika.com lists two model numbers:

NP-Q35T007/SUK (out of stock / discontinued)

    NP-Q35T008/SUK (in stock).

I'm wondering if any of you know what the difference between the two model numbers is?

Any help would be most appreciated.

    Kind Regards Angelical_1

    P.S - I've also noticed different model numbers for the Q35 T7200 (NP-Q35T001/SUK / NP-Q35T006/SUK). Am I missing something here or am I losing the plot :)

Insight and DigiUK list two Q35 models: NP-Q35T006/SUK has the T7200 CPU and normal colour; NP-Q35T008/SUK has the T5600 and is red. I can't figure out what change has been made between the two versions of the red Q35 mentioned by Micro Anvika. Maybe a different source of hard disk or optical drive?

Samsung's UK website is woefully out of date - it has yet to mention the Core 2 Duo CPUs - and is currently not a reliable source of information.

    Hi All,

Question to those who have this machine already -

    1. Do any of you have the T7200 with a Red lid - i'm hunting frantically for it as buying time is nigh...
    2. How quiet is the machine when on battery, well ventilated situation/position?
      1. How long is the battery lasting on average?
    3. Did anyone consider going with a MacBook Core2Duo instead? Why/Why Not

    looking forward to replies

    :)

The Q35 Red was a limited edition and is therefore no longer made. I think the equivelant version is the Q35T008, but pretty sure its not red!
