    Samsung Q70

    Hello!

    I cannot switch on my Samsung Q70 Laptop =( When I try to switch it on the power led is on and for a short moment the led from the hdd blinks and after that for one time the three left leds. But the lcd remains black. Has somebody a error codelist for this led informations?

    remove the battery and power supply, then hold the power button down for 30 seconds to remove all power notebook and then re-assemble if anything has changed.

    Ok I tried this but the problem is still the same.

    I would remove and replace the RAM. Sometimes the contacts oxidise and eventually the system can't find the RAM when booting. Hence the flashing lights. Your Q70 must be approaching 4 years old which is an age when such problems start to occur. Removal / replacement cleans the contacts.

    Note that one RAM slot is under a cover on the base but the other RAM slot is under the keyboard. To remove the keyboard you need to remove the screws on the base marked "KBD" then release the catches that hold the keyboard (either along the front or back edge), then lift up that edge sufficient to slide the keyboard to release the tabs holding the other edge, then flip it over.

    I will try to remove the ram. But I have also read that the nvida chip in the Q70 likes to get broken. With the error led code list I hoped to figure this out.

    Yes, the Nvidia GPU is from the generation with the packing problems. However, I thought that it usually manifested itself as a corrupted display, not causing the boot process to stop (if the computer continued to boot even if the display was blank then you would see a lot of HDD activity.
