Hi, I appear to have a US English mapping keyboard on my laptop - OK so I've now found that the @ is above the two (haven't found the £ sign yet - I'm on a different computer at the mo!!!) - how can I change it to what I would call a normal keyboard. As far as I can see everything is set as English!

    Thanks for your help

This problem has probably arisen through selection of the default option during Windows installation. What time zone are you in? - the default is GMT-8 (=Microsoft HQ).

You can change the keyboard mapping at Control Panel > Regional and Language Options > Languages > Details > Settings. Add the keyboard you want, set it as the default and then remove the keyboard you don't want.
