    Hey all,

This is looking like the laptop foremost on my shopping list. Was just wondering if anyone here owns the laptop and has any general comments on it's build quality and gaming power. Thanks loads.

There's an unofficial review at NBR here and a long thread about the R560 here.

IIRC, the gaming performance is above-average for the GPU.

Thanks guys, and John, again your a legend! Sorry Phil, I'm quite a noob when it comes to reading benchmark results...but from what it looks like it seems that the Samsung R560 has some average results...unless its because its ranked against some heavy duty laptops?

This was an anomaly that we discussed at the time. There's a chance that the factory included a 9600M GT by mistake. Trusted Reviews report a 9600M GS (with DDR3) in the version they tested.
