    Hi everyone,

I am looking to buy the Samsung R580E from NCIX as it the best computer in that price range I can find aside from a few competitors (asus has 2 similarly priced laptops but with worse graphics cards and msi has 1 that has better graphics and smaller HDD).

However, my big concern is that it comes with 32bit windows pre-installed. Most people in the reviews of this laptop or in forums for similar laptops have said that they have switched from 32bit to 64bit. Is the only way to do this to purchase windows for an extra $200 (I don't know windows 7 yet) and do a clean install? Or is there any way to upgrade using the windows key that should come with the laptop?

Also, is anyone able to comment on the quality of Asus and MSI laptops?

    Thank you in advance.

Here are links to all the products, just in case:
    Samsung R580E
    Asus K42JR-A1
    Asus K52JK-A1
    MSI GE600-002US

Alright, well I have acquired a legitimate copy of the Windows 7 install disk. So does anyone know if the product key for the Windows 7 32bit that comes pre-installed will allow me to install 64bit windows?
