    Samsung R70 fan dead.

    I need to find somekind of a service manual for my R70. Because my R70 fan is dead, it does not spin at all and according to "everest" my r70 cpu temp is 70 and gpu 80. This is not acceptable.
    Ive managed to get the keyboard off but the thing has a plastic cover on top of its motherboard so its impossible to get a look of fan power connector and the fan itself is covered with metallic cover. Ive taken a quick picture to show you guys what i mean. I need to know where the fan power is located so i could check that and clean the fan from dust (although it does spin freely).

    I think you will need to dismantle the whole notebook.

    This thread about the X20 fan might provide some inspiration.

    I presume you are out of warranty?

    I just found the receipt, I'll let the warranty handle this. Hope it doesn't take too long for them to fix it :rolleyes:
