    Hi
New to the list so please be gentle.
The wireless card in the Samsung R780, a realtek RTL8192E, connects fine at “G” to my dual band gateway, Netgear DGND3300v2, but no joy at “N”; there is no detectable signal. A PC sitting alongside the laptop can connect via a Netgear WNDA3100v2 at “N”, so there is no problem with the signal being blocked (I have also tried the laptop alongside the gateway but with no luck).
As I have failed to find any reference to similar problems I am assuming that this is unusual.
Grateful for any advice suggestions as to what I should do next.
    Ciao
    Morelli

First check here that you have the latest driver. Don't rely on the Samsung Update.

Second, you will need to scrutinise the settings under the wireless adaptor properties on both computers and look for any differences.

Third, try setting the router to a different default channel.
