Hi, i got my Samsung Series 3 Laptop for 2 years now.
however, yesterday, as i was charging the notebook we watched a short movie clip.
but there is a message from INTEL that my notebook's battery won't last long.
i thought that it is just a false alarm, however, after 3 minutes the laptop turned off and its not charging.
i tried a different samsung charger and its also not charging. the laptop is dead and unusable as of the moment.
please help. i have very important files and documents saved on that pc. Thank you and God bless!

There are many similarities to this thread (which is, as yet, unresolved). It is currently unclear whether a completely dead battery will stop a Samsung notebook from booting on mains power.

You can visit samsungparts.com to see if they list the battery part number for your notebook (if not, then look inside your notebook). Then use that info to search for other sources of the battery.

Don't get too anxious about recovering your data. This is easily done by removing the HDD from the notebook, putting into a 2.5" HDD USB adapter and plugging into another computer. This also acts as a reminder you that you should have a backup stategy to protect against computer theft, HDD death or other unforeseen event.
