Hello, I've had my Samsung Series 7 Gamer 700G7A for about 1 year and over the past 2 months its been getting slower and slower at starting up, I've removed the bloat ware and also scanner for viruses, adware, etc and everything is ok. But it still takes about 5 mins for everything to start :(( I've noticed that one of the last apps to start in the trap is the app that allows you to put the laptop into 3d mode this might just be the last app to start :(( anyone else had any issues?

    Thanks in advance :)

I remember using Soluto two or three years back to find out what was taking the time during start-up.

Assuming that you are running Windows 7 then Samsung's Easy Settings has some boot config options in the Boot section. It would be worthwhile trying out the effect of changing some of the options.

The other place you can check and tweak is MSCONFIG. Look through the lists in the Startup and Services sections and disable anything unwanted.

As things are added on it tends to slow things down. Also Windows default defragger does a poor job of optimizing startup items to the front of the disk or outer tracks. Programs such as Diskperfect can greatly enhance startup speed. As mentioned though get the extra's you do not have to have out first with MSConfig............
