So on my now old laptop I have a problem, I would like to get this fixed so that I can sell it. Inside of the laptops charger port the prongs appear to be bent out of place. I want to lightly bend them back into the correct position in the hopes that it may begin charging again. I refuse to take it in for servicing because god knows how much that would cost. I would attempt to solider a new dc power jack on myself, however I do not have the tools for this.
So basically what I am asking is if someone has this model can they take a really decent picture of the inside of the charger port, that way I can attempt to go on from there.

Or maybe in the Series 7 disassembly guide. That is based on the NP700Z5A, but may still be similar to your model -- and it contains discussion long after the release of newer models.

Not a single picture of the inside of the port.

A possibility you may have to consider is that the charger you have is worn down from constant insertion and removal. I'll see if I can get good pictures taken of the charger port. -
