    Hi all,

I recently purchased a Series 7 Z5C-S04, and while Skyping with a friend, she complained of a high-pitched noise coming from my end. I tested this by Skyping a machine I have at home and I noticed this issue as well. It's a really high-pitched sound that doesn't change in pitch, and it only emits when I'm speaking into the mic.

Has anyone else experienced this issue before? And are there any fixes to this problem?

    Thanks!

First make sure you are using the latest version of the audio driver. Then start doing some trials with different settings for the microphone. Right-click on the loudspeaker icon in the notification area and select recording devices. Then proceed from there.
