    Samsung Series 7 unlocked Bios

    Hi Guys,

    i have a Samusung Chronos 7 Z700C-S03DE

    i am looking for a unlocked BIOS

    Can anyone help me ?



    Second Problem is, i have changed the Blu Ray Drive with the 1 TB Hybrind HDD and i have built in a Samsung SSD.

    When i install Windows 7 with built in Hybrid HDD Windows wont boot. When i remove the Hybrid HDD before install Windows on the SSD the notebook boots well. After that i can built
    in the Hybrid HDD again and windows 7 boots well.

    In the Bootorder i see the two boot partitions of the Hybrid hdd althoughi have delteted the partiions from Hybrid HDD. Why is that ?

    Does your notebook has ExpressCache? It can cause problems when installing Windows. Windows installs the boot files on the iSSD which is not bootable.

    Read this thread for more about ExpressCache. If the fix for your problem is not there then look in this thread and this thread. It's the 15.6" equivalent of your model.

    yes the HDD has Express Cache

    Those threads linked by John contain some great info about ExpressCache and your model in general. However, the solution to your specific problem with installing Windows on a model with ExpressCache, is in the thread linked below. There are several workarounds (described in the first two posts of the thread), all involve booting into Setup a second time to copy or create boot files on the actual boot partition and boot drive.
