If you read my original post, my 11.6 did not suffer from any wifi issues, with the original or a new wifi card.

I just noticed something about the keyboard on the Samsung Series 9 from Korea. The only thing holding me back from importing a 11.6 with i5 is the potential Korean keyboard, I prefer the USA version. On the Samsung website though, I noticed based on the gallery that the 13.3 has a Korean-ish style keyboard but the 11.6 has the USA-like keyboard (notice the enter keys)? Has anybody seen the 11.6 Korean version in person?

    Hello everyone,
I have just ordered NP900X1B-A01 (11.6, 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD) on Amazon to replace my Acer Ferrari One.
Does anyone know if this model comes with Broadcom or Intel 6230 wifi/bt combo card?
Anyone opened theirs? Is the memory upgradeable like in 13 inch model? Any photos of internals and disassembly project posted anywhere?
Maybe there are memory slots on the other side of the motherboard, under the keyboard?
I have upgraded my wife's 13 inch Series 9 to 8GB RAM and replaced Broadcom wifi card with 6230.

My friend ordered a NP900X1B-A01 (MicrosoftStore, $899 plus $100 gift card) a few days ago too... and he was interested to switch to Intel if it came with Broadcom. Let me know which one it comes with if you do open it, or check device mananger... I was suppose to swap it out for him. The 11.6" NP900X1A model, I could not find replaceable ram. I did not remove the keyboard however since it was beyond my expertise.

    Thanks,
I hope the memory slots are on the other side of the motherboard, under the keyboard.
Could you try running CPU-Z and checking the output in MEM and SPD sections? If there are any SO-DIMMs installed CPU-Z should show something like that (captured from my Asus G53SW)

So if there is an SO-DIMM in Series 9 11.6 it CPU-Z should show manufacturer, size, speeds etc.

Well, I can answer the question myself now. NP900X1B-A01 comes with Broadcom combo Wifi+bt card.
And CPU-Z doesnt show any SPD info for memory, which means it must be soldered on the motherboard and not upgradeable. Bummer ;-(
Off to eBay to buy Intel 6230 ;-)

Can someone tell me what brand and type screen the 9 series has ? I have bumped mine into my desk. I don't want to buy a cheap replacement screen form ebay.

Does anyone know where I can purchase a replacement battery for this model (NP900X1A-A01US) ? It only charges up to 66% or around there. Its not the 80% battery saver problem.

    Thanks

You could contact samsungparts.com although they don't list the battery. Can you get the bottom off your computer and find the battery part number?
