My laptop is about a year old. I have always been a do it yourselfer but I can't figure this out.

I have tried the reset battery.
Pushing the charger in very hard to ensure a good connection.
I have open the laptop and reconnected all the circuits to ensure a good connection with the board.

I have just purchased a new charging connection that connects to the motherboard but if this doesn't work I'm not sure what to do next.

    Please help.

That is very similar to the problem discussed in http://forum.notebookreview.com/samsung/660015-samsung-series-9-wont-turn.html.

Have you checked that power is available at the plug on the charger? If not, the battery won't get reconnected after using the disconnect switch. A light on the charger doesn't prove that power is reaching the tip. I always keep a spare charger available since I've had a few die on me over the years.

Wow it actually worked! I read that and I stopped because mine didn't turn on at all and i thought it was a different issue. Thank you so much.

    This:

<The only reason I needed to use it was because I had removed the bottom cover, then removed the battery. After putting everything back together it wouldn't boot. It took me a few minutes of messing around with the power button and pin hole to finally get it to boot. >

I just removed the battery and held down the reboot button with and without the charger. With the charger and ~ 30 seconds did it!
