Does anyone have any recent experience of Samsung UK's support service?

I have a Samsung Q320 which has developed an issue of dust becoming trapped behind the display, similar to the issue discussed here.

I noticed the issue several months ago but, as I don't travel with the laptop and only use it with an external display, it wasn't causing me any problems so I never pursued getting it repaired.

However, I have less than a year left of the extended warranty and am now thinking about whether to make a claim but am a little bit reluctant to due to the horror story mentioned in the thread linked to earlier and also because Samsung may decide to swap out my laptop which I would be reluctant to do as mine is in as new condition.

Hence, looking for some feedback on their support service or any ideas on what Samsung may do in my scenario.
