Nice. I wonder if they're going to release 13" and 14" versions too. Probably so.

Wouldnt be surprised Samsung seems to be trying to fill all the areas they are missing out on.

Yes, it's probably the reason X360 and X460 have been discontinued.

If the price is €699 (as in that link) they are targetting a different price range than the X360 / X460.

Screen resolution will be important. If it is only 768 pixels high then that's a step backwards. 900 pixels high would be the sensible choice for a 15" panel.

Is there an optical drive in there?

The sides are WAY to thin I just dont see it being possible.

I also doubt this is a replacement for the X series stay tuned but i wouldnt be surprised if new versions are on the way(X370 /470 anyone :))

I think X360 and 460 were not big sales successes, I'm guessing they won't be replaced.

^^^^ Hm, possibly i still would love see new versions. I mean they were pretty cheap when you considered the SSD drives that were in the 360. They took to long to bring down the price though. Still here's hoping another one comes out.

Im hoping that they have an SU9400 available. Samsung normally doesnt show everything until its released. To me this notebook is a decent size so i would be expecting a higher processor

Can someone check out the Samsung download site, starting here. There is an X420 on the list but my connection is so bad that I can reload the page. There will be specs in the back of the manual, once it is posted. And the drivers usually indicate the product is about a month away from reaching the shelves.

This site also thinks there is an X420.

I think we're going to see several CULV CPUs.

PS. you're welcome for the advice. X360 is a very nice notebook.

    X420 is there, including manuals.

Can you get the manual, extract the specs and other key figures and start a new thread?

Actually I can't because it's a 10MB flash file that doesn't allow extraction :) At least I am not capable to do so.

Edit: CULV platform, no DVD, HDMI yes. See new threads.

My method is to print the manual, or pages, as a PDF file. Those flash files are horrible.

It's very good especially considering NBJ tests with 40% continuous CPU load.

Normal light usage has much lower CPU load.
