    Say hello to the G25!

Initial specs are reporting the loss of the PSU, 7 USB ports, a 320GB HDD and a 19" screen with an undeclared resolution but a contrast ratio of 1,000:1. Theres no mention of the graphics card to be used in the behemoth of a laptop but Trusted Reviews speculate that it will be the Nvidia 8700 GT. A battery life isn't quoted but I wouldn't imagine it being too long with a screen that size!

If it is anything like the G10 then it wont have a battery and also have a pretty crappy graphics card.

It looks like an even bigger version of the G15.

Google picks up the G15 here and here, so it looks as if it is coming to UK and we did start a G15 thread a couple of months ago.

Link for more pictures of the girl...I mean the laptop. From what I can translate, it won't have a battery and a brightness of 300 nits. Also saying the price will start around the ~1100 USD range, which I find hard to believe.

Also... if you look you can see on the left an ATI sticker so I'm assuming it'll be fitted with an ati HD2x00 series, hopefully a 2600 XT

I tot the LG 19 inch is terrible with a 8600M GS... hopefully the power brick is included into the machine like the LG.

These notebooks are a different form of desktop replacement and may appear to people / businesses who what something more compact than a desktop computer but portability is low on their list of priorities.

While an integrated PSU gives some convenience, it also is an extra source of heat inside the computer and if the PSU has a problem then the computer has to go for repair.
