    Hello,

My Samsung X10 laptop is about 4 years old now. I want to clean it, I mean clean it inside, with an air duster. I tried to open it but didn't succeed. I took off about 8 screws (all of them under the laptop, exept the two labelled "kbd"). After that i tried to open the notebook to cleant he inside but no way...I was like if something else was keeping the two parts stuck together, like clips on th edges or something...I couldn't find what really.

I've searched with Google to find a "how to" but there is none of the web. Can someone help me please?

Can't you remove the keyboard (kbd) first and then clean under it? In many laptops you don't necessarily need to split the whole laptop base in half to access the inside.

If you're lucky, search on google and you might be able to find a 'service manual' for your laptop.

I've seen it earlier. I fear a bit about having to remove the LCD panel...I thought it was possible to open the laptop without removing so many parts...

    I'll check that tonight....
