Hi all. We have an X460 here that we are trying to connect to the "p-dock" docking station. However it seems there is a cover over the docking station connector on the bottom of the laptop. Attempts to remove this cover with limited force have been fruitless and we are concern about pushing and prodding too hard.

Has anyone else found this and been able to remove this cover?

Alternatively does anyone have any links to instructions on how to open the notebook up completely so we can see what's under this cover holding it in place?

    Thanks in advance.

    David

Normally, the dock port cover automatically moves out of the way as the computer is put into the dock.

I don't have any specific knowledge of the X460 but I would be looking for something on the dock which goes into a hole on the base of the notebook and moves the cover.
