A good find. That's progress, although the bigger headache is the Samsung-specific software.
Any idea whether those drivers work for both the X60 and the X60 plus?
John
PS: We are still waiting for some working GPU power management for the X1700. Will that eventually appear? -
I got a call from samsung for this today - can't believe it, on the same day as I bought a macbook pro as well
apparently the drivers are for the x60 plus as well yes -
That's great news for all you Vista people; I've still got the good old XP Pro - the Samsung drivers for XP are still the same old ones!

Has anyone managed to get the video drivers working?
Grabbed the latest ones from here:

Windows Vista ATI Video Driver (Version 8.352) 90.9MB NEW
I can't install these on my X60plus - the driver and catalyst centre install fail every time. Have tried uninstalling my previous ATI drivers, but it didn't help. -
Discovered why the driver install wasn't working for me. It was the stupidist thing!
I had downloaded and unzipped the new vista video drivers to the downloads folder in my user account on vista - C:\Users\cobrien\Downloads\
By the time I unzipped everything into that directory, the path to the video driver was too long for windows driver installer to handle - of course windows didn't tell me that!
So, the solution was to copy the drivers to the root of my drive, then everything installed perfectly. -

Thanks for the update.
Windows can trip over its own shoe laces at times.
