    I'm just a little bit confused.

    I've seen a review for the x65, and the images clearly show a firewire port.

    I can't seem to find it mentioned in the specs anywhere that they do come with firewire ports.

    Can anyone shed some light on this?

    Hi,

    I bought the X65 about 3 weeks ago (in the UK) and can confirm that there's a firewire port on the left side.

    German version of the X65 also has a firewire port.

    I looks like Samsung omitted to include the firewire port in the specs. It's taken a year for anyone to notice!

    thanks!

    what are your opinions on the brightness outdoors?

    Any quibbles you've found with the laptops or are they perfect?

    I'm gonna get one next week before they terminate xp!

    @fauzman:
    You might want to have a look at this thread:
    http://forum.notebookreview.com/showthread.php?t=248256

    I haven't used my X65 outside yet, but I was using it while the sun was shining directly on the screen through the window...and didn't noticed any problems with visibility.
    I think the notebook is quite perfect... very silent, good keyboard, light, good material, etc.

    However:
    - no webcam
    - the middle part of the speakers area is quite weak on my X65 for some reason
