Can anybody explain technical difference in between samsung ativ book 6 (NP680Z5E touch screen in i7 3635qm) vs book 7(NP780Z5E touch screen i7 3635qm) vs book 8(NP880Z5E touch screen i7 3635qm )

looks the techincal spec are similar among eachother in i7 model. Which model is latest one?
I done a bit research on availability and spoken to uk samnsung store and bit shame only i5 models exist in uk, no i7 models with touch screen available in uk. I am desperate to buy i7 3635qmmodel with touch screen.
Any idea when will be available in uk.

See Samsung's chart here that relates the new Ativ Book names to the old models. However, that doesn't seem to give the full story. I thought the NP780Z5E is a Chronos and should therefore be a Book 8. The Ativ Book 6 (formerly Series 5) tend to have lower resolution / quality screens than the higher models.

If you want a better choice of models with good CPUs then you may need to move to Germany where Samsung historically given their potential customers more choice.

New models using the Intel Haswell platform are in the pipeline. We may find out more on 20th June.

You can read more about that model on the Samsung Italy web site.

The Italian keyboard probably looks similar to this:

Keyboards are no longer easy to physically change and backlighting means that overlaying with stickers won't be satisfactory.
