The power jack on a Samsung laptop I have received has melted and I need to replace it. I have looked around on sites such as eBay but I am unsure of which of the power jacks there would be compatible. I have done soldering before, so I am quite confident that I would be capable of doing this (with a bit of research of course)

I would be grateful for anyone to suggest a power jack for this laptop (model no.in the title).

    Thanks :)

Hello Ga8sxw, welcome to the forum :)

Sorry to hear about the meltdown. Someone else recently had a need to replace the power connector on his Series 7. You may want to check the discussion that starts here.
