So i recieved my 900X3C about two weeks ago, and i got to say i've been pleased with the product so far. So last night at around 8PM my PC ran out of power, and i didn't try to recharge it before this morning at 8.30AM. The problem was that it wouldn't start charging, that means the power on the AC adapter is showing, but the chrarging light on the series 9 is not showing. This lead to the pc not starting.

    So i got some tips:
    A) Hold in powerbutton for 30 seconds: Did not work
    B) Press the battery reset button underneath the PC to reset the battery: Did not work.
    C) B+insert AC adapter: Did not work.

I have tries these things plenty of times. Keep in mind that i have taken good care of this product, that means that i have almost guarded it with my life due to the high price. I can guarantee that i have not done any damage to the product myself.

So you got all the info. I would like to have some opinions on what to do, and i would really appreciate if someone had something that would work. I got the green light on sending the computer in for repairs, but i do not yet know if i have to pay something for the repairs or if it will go under the free repair section.

I am sending my PC in for repairs tommorow, about 18 hours from now if i don't get it to work.

    Thanks in advance

Seems like you have done everything I would, and the system is just refusing to charge. If it has been only 2 weeks, I would exchange it for a brand new one, as opposed to repairs.

But i don't have a thousand bucks to just throw around, hah. What i am going to do is send it in for repairs and check if i it goes under the Samsung insurence, and if they send me a new one or send the broken one to Samsung for repairs.

There's a chance that it's the charger or the connection to the computer - a light doesn't necessarily mean that it's producing power at the end of the wire. Just make sure that it's plugged into the computer completely. The power jack on my X4C needs a firmer push than on the old X3B. Initially I wasn't pushing it in hard enough and thought it was loose.

Woow. I pushed it really hard in, and nothing happend, so i took it back out and pushed it 3/4 in, the light came on!!!

Then i just pushed it the whole way in, seems like i got away cheap with this one!

    Thanks John.

Good news. :) Just keep an eye on the connector in case it is temperamental.

Is the computer now willing to spring into life?

Yeah, the computer is working now it seems, and i can unplug the charger and plug it back in without any problems. I acutally do not understand what caused it.. weird.

    Thank you guys!
Exactly the same problem and the simple solution with pushing the charger harder :)
