I woke up to find my x460 with a cracked screen a few days ago.I'm gutted about it because the entire screen will need to be replaced.
Does anyone know where I can get a replacement screen?
I've tried everywhere I can think of and samsung tech support referred me to a uk company who weren't very helpfull.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

An accident, I presume.
You could either try the service location selector or see SamsungFAQ #3 and #5, or contact a parts company such as Service Source Europe.
It's also possible that, since the X460 is sold in the USA, the specialist display companies there could help.

Yes it was an accident unfortunately.I
've spoken to Samsungs tech support and was reffered to their out of warrenty repair service based in the UK.
They've been terrible to deal with. They haven't returned my calls or replied to my emails.Even the info and pricing details on their website is wrong.
I've ended up trying to source the screen myself. -

Is that all? They quoted me £230 (€260)

It was 140 + delivery ontop of the cost of the screen compared to £75 labour for their uk customers.
The fact that they quoted me an extra 50 for labour is a bit of a joke.
