    Screen problem with NP700Z7C?

    Hello,
    Whenever something is loading on my new laptop, the screen looks like this:

    When it needs to display black, it actually looks black but under some circumstances, the black has those weird highlights. I can see it when playing games too. It's not immediately noticeable but when you "look around" in-game, over certain colors, I see the shadow in the middle and the highlights. Does anyone else have this? Is this normal? Should I contact Samsung?

    I would contact them. It certainly isn't evident on mine or the other couple that I've seen in person.

    That's backlight bleed. It's most obvious at boot but perhaps made more obvious if the backlight is at maximum brightness. If it is showing through at other times then you could try to get a replacement.

    Ahh that sucks. I just got it a month and a half ago. Will contact Samsung.
