Hi, what about the models in this series? Anyone has got one?
It's possible to upgrade the hd (ex. with an SSD)?
    And temperatures/noise, are they ok?

I own NP300E5Z, which is very similar to NP300E5A. The laptop is quiet and cool, but the matte display is of a very low quality. The contrast is low (practically, there is no black color), the backlighting is not even, the viewing angles are tight. The LED backlighting has very low refresh rate and can cause strain if you have more sensitive eyes (similar to CRT monitors). If you are demanding about display quality I don't recommend this laptop.

    Very interesting, thank you!

I started considering this series for the matte screen and after I've read this review of a similar notebook but I thougth was on average quality, not such as you described (like CRT behaviour! ;) ) In fact also in the review they advice to use an external monitor when possible ...
So I dont't think I'll buy it, also if I need a notebook for programming.

Can I ask you if the hd is accessible?

I just saw your video and the Samsung appears really unusable, I cannot believe It's a general behaviour of the series 3, well, I hope so. Have you tried RMA?

I didn't said but I asked about the because if I'll buy a notebook I'll change it with an SSD and I cannot find any image of the bottom of this series; furthermore I saw that in other Samsung only the ram is accessible.

What about the wi-fi, have you tried it? Does it work without any problem?

    Thank you

Don't know either about the SSD. My laptop came with Intel Wireless N-130 b/g/n. It's ok. I didn't notice signal drops or slowing speeds, but I haven't tested with N-networks.

Looking for the LED display of the model. I found the model LTN156AT15 but I'm not sure if it will fit. I read that this model has to be SLIM version - for example, LTN156AT19.
    Is this true?
