Hi all, just got my Series 7 together with an Intel 320 SSD and with much difficulty I've managed to install the SSD. I've used the included disc to install a fresh version of windows and I've got all the drivers downloaded but was wondering if there is a particular way or order in which to install them. From previous experience it seems chipset should always be done first but do you think any order for the rest will do?

    Many Thanks

I don't have first-hand experience of the recent Samsung hardware but concur with your general strategy of chipset first. What about the Express Cache?

Personally, I clone the HDD when installing an SSD and therefore avoid the potential hassles of making sure that all the drivers and software are installed correctly. Software such as Acronis TrueImage seems to be able to make sure that Windows is reconfigured for optimum SSD performance. You can download Intel's version of Acronis here.
