    Hi all.

I sent my Samsung Series 7 (np700z3a-s03us) in for repair (replacing the motherboard) and the absolutely lovely people at the service center left a screw out of the bottom. I noticed this immediately once the laptop was returned to me.

I called the Samsung to see if they would send me a replacement screw and they want me to send the laptop in to have it serviced again. NO THANK YOU, I spent 3 weeks without a computer in the first place. After a long argument ("Why the hell can you not just SHIP the stupid screw to me?" "We'd be liable if you tried to screw it in and broke the casing" "You're liable for the fact your contracted service center forgot it in the first place!!!") I was unable to get them to even tell me where to purchase it. That's where I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

I have the 13" Series 7 Laptop and they forgot the screw that holds in the memory compartment. Do any of you know where I could purchase the appropriate screw? The memory compartment is being held in with tape at the moment, and I'm really desperate to replace this screw.

    Please help!

    Thanks so much!

I expect that one of these will fit.

16 different sizes of screw should cover most options that notebook manufacturers use. They aren't going to make life difficult for themselves by using some non-standard size.
