Has anyone who has loaded Windows 8 on their Series 7 Chronos managed to get resume from Sleep working?
I would like to check if I have the correct drivers bios and power settings.
    Thank you

Mine works normally--booting right up to the desktop within 2-4 seconds. My machine is in the signature. What is your exact laptop model?

Make sure your configurations are correct for "closing the lid" at Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Power Options\System Settings. In When I close the lid choose Sleep for both the On battery and Plugged in. I'm not sure whether you will need to change any settings in Easy Settings (Settings in Windows 8), but I remember seeing an option while I was using Windows 7 about fast resume mode.

Give this a try after changing those settings--close the lid and open it up and report back.
