Everytime I try to transfer photos from an iPhone 4s to my Series 7, I get a blue screen. Has anybody seen this issue? It happens with both USB ports.

    Hello,

I had exactly the same issues with an iPhone 4s and iPhone 3GS.

Were you able to fix it?

After updating the USB drivers, I no longer get the blue screen but I'm still not able to transfer all files from the iPhone. When trying to copy some files, I get a "Data error (cyclic redundancy check)".

Perhaps a cable problem causing data corruption? Is it a genuine cable or "compatible"? Do you have an old USB 1 hub that you can connect through and force a lower data transfer rate?

I got a BSOD last night as soon as I plugged my iPhone into a USB 3 port. No such problem with the USB 2.
