    Hi guys,

    my laptop model is

    Samsung Series 5 np530u3c-a01us

and i bought Crucial M4 128G to replace it.

I succeeded replacing hhd to ssd, and i checked that the M4 model number appears well in the BIOS.

after that, i tried to install window7 with usb.

succeeded booting the install part, and as you guys know, after installing all the window files, it automatically reboots.

But After that....after the Samsung logo, the screen gets black and reboot the system over and over infinity.... :(

So i tested this ssd on my desktop with same process.

put it in my desktop, installed with usb and after the reboot, it boots perfectly in my desktop.

BUT why isn't it working in my Samsung laptop :(......

I searched some threads in this forum and followed some solutions, but still not working :(......

can you guys help me with this?>

    Thank you!

    Hey guys,

    I've searched this reply

@andersonjacob54: there is no option in the bios to disable the express cache. the solution was to format the expess cache as apple disk, so windows couldn't handle the partitons

So how should i format the iSSD to apple disk? it only has ntfs and fat

i searched a bit more, and i found that usb installing doesn't work in Samsung Series 5.

But i don't think that is my problem.

I have another desktop, and i installed the window to SSD perfectly with this desktop.

checked that it boots the window screen.

After that, i just replaced the hdd to ssd in my laptop.

But still....just rebooting over and over after the samsung logo..... :(

before it reboots, does it get to any windows starting screen etc before the reboot or does it come up with a message ie no boot disk found?

    Thanks for the reply TanWare.

No, there is no msg or window starting screen

samsung logo -> screen turns black for 2 sec -> reboot

    this happens over and over

I don't want to think this as a conclusion...

But i think the problem is compatibility between Series 5 and M4 SSD

Is there anybody using M4 with Series 5? :(

    Still not working :(

My issue is different not like other guys suppose...

My SSD(included all the window stuff installed) works perfect on my desktop.

So normally if i just i put it in my laptop and just boot up the laptop, it has to work.

But after the samsung logo rebooting insensitively.

Don't have a error msg like other guys.... :(

I was going to get the m4 for my np530u3c-a01nl (to replace the 500gb hitachi), but then i read the a02 uses a samsung 830 ssd. I got the 256 gb samsung 830 and i am happy with it. I didn't know the m4 came in a 7mm version?!

Why not try burning a Windows CD and try booting, if it works you might be able to do a repair?

You did disable the 'fast boot' in the bios!?
