I have a Series 5 laptop, with white letters centered on black keys. I've worn away most of the A and the S, and about half of the E. Has anyone found a fix for this - either white paint of some kind, or stickers that work? The stickers I've seen on Ebay have the letters in the upper left quadrant of the key, but on my keyboard the letters are centered.

If your keyboard is not backlit then maybe these would do the job. Otherwise, you could cut out the appropriate part of a transparent overlay sticker and put on the centre of the key (not sure how well these would last). Another route would be to look for someone selling replacement key caps (it may be necessary to do some research to identify which notebooks probably have the same keyboard as yours in order to broaden your search options).

I ended up getting this sticker set from Ebay:

It seems to be a good match for my NP550P5C. The letters are in the middle of the sticker, and that's where they need to be. Seems like a good solution for $1.89.
