    Hi All,

I recently had to do a clean install (Win 7) on my laptop (NP900X3A-A03US). Prior to this I was able to listen to music from my laptop streaming to the Bluetooth headset. Now it no longer works. Does anyone know how to successfully setup the Bluetooth to be able to listen to streaming music from laptop?

    Thanks in advance!

Did you redo the pairing of the devices?

Thanks for replying. I am pretty savvy with computer stuffs. Assemble my own from parts (PC not laptop), root/flash my phone, etc. So, yes I have done all the basic stuff. It shows Bluetooth device connected in Control Panel but in Sound/Playback devices it does not show the Bluetooth. In Control Panel I checked on the properties and all the Services [of the Bluetooth] are installed.

And this worked before. I just can't remember what I did (or installed.)

Does yours work? Maybe if you can describe the steps you took to set it up, that might be helpful. Of course, if it is working for you.

And thanks for the help, regardless.

Thanks. I'm not questioning your computer knowledge. It wasn't clear what steps you had and had not done.

Anyway, lets start with the basics. Are you using Samsung's SW Update to obtain the drivers and software? You will definitely need the Realtek audio package and installation of the Samsung Easy Settings software (note that there is a better version 2 of this for Windows 7 buried inside the Windows 8 installation package which you can search for and export).

I have just been experimenting with connecting a BT speaker with my Series 9s. On the X4C, once I had the device paired then double-clicking on the icon in the BT devices brought up a window listing services. BT headset and Headphones icons also appeared in the playback devices window (if you don't see them then right click and select Show disconnected devices).

    Hi John,

Thanks for the reply. I believe I had the most current Windows update but not Samsung updates. I think I am going to install Windows 8 and if it still doesn't work, I will come back and go over your tips.

I will also post if it works.

    Thanks!
