    Hey guys,

So I've had the 7 series for about a month now and the left-bottom of the trackpad is not flush anymore, its sunken about a milimeter or two below the rest of the trackpad.

Everthing still functions fine, and clicking is a little easier, but it bothers me that this is a sign that the trackpad is not all that durable.

    Anyone have a similar issue?

My right-click button area sank about .75 mm within a week. The display model at Best Buy also had the 'flat tire' effect. The left-click area has stood up for me. But I stopped using the buttons entirely and use taps instead so the defect doesn't bother me.

The bottom left of the pad on my NP900X3B (same Elan pad, IIRC) is slightly lower than the bottom right corner. I'm not going to lose sleep over it unless it starts to malfunction.
