OK another question :-(
Touchpad isn't working on my NP530U4C-S01IN after reinstalling Windows 8.1
I have installed the drivers and have enabled "Touchpad" on Settings
Any idea what I must do?
thanks

Windows should have got the basic touchpad functions working using the built-in driver. Installing Samsung's driver (usually the Elan pad in most recent models) just adds more functions.
Did you try pressing Fn+F5 (probably - your keyboard may be different) to see if that turns the pad on and off?
There's also the option to disable the touchpad if a mouse is plugged in.

Then (re)install the Elan driver.
Since there is no Windows 8.1 version listed for your notebook get the driver for NP530U4C-S08IN which has the 8.1 drivers in SW Update.

Hi John,
Followed your instructions, Installed the one from NP530U4C-S08IN and it works!
Thanks a lot for your help! I am sure Samsung wouldn't know all these

Thanks for reporting the successful conclusion.
Sometimes people don't report back once the problem is fixed.
