So I just got myself a 13" series 9. There's a niggling issue with the touchpad.
After resuming from sleep it will sometimes refuse to respond.
Everything else works and the only way to get rid of the issue is to reboot.
Even pressing ctrl to highlight the position of the cursor works. But it won't actually respond, or show up.

Are you running the Samsung factory image or is this a custom install? Windows 7 or 8?

My NP900X3D doesn't have this issue. Although it came with Windows 8 Pro, I am running Windows 7 Ultimate on it instead.

That problem used to occur with the touchpad driver from some months ago. Use Easy Software Manager / SW Update to get the latest driver.

The SW Update doesn't detect any updates for my touchpad driver though. No custom installs here, stock win 8 that came with the notebook.

Edit: There are newer drivers for win7 on the samsung site which aren't detected by the update for whatever reason. Downloading now to see if it fixes anything.

Version 11.7.2.1 works best for me (Windows 7) but I don't know where it is still available for download.

Curious if this touchpad issue was ever resolved for anyone who had it. I just received my NP900X3D a few days ago, and have had the same problem. Thanks.

Is the BIOS up-to-date? Use the BIOS Update utility (link in this thread) to check.
