Hey guys. I just got my Samsung Series 7 Chronos 14" with Nvidia graphics card. I have two issues. One is the date/time is wrong. I have it set at -8:00 pacific time but it's 15 hours ahead. It's 8:49pm right now and the clock is showing 11:50am the next day. I already made sure it's the proper timezone. I installed all current updates and went into administrative tools under the scheduler and ran the synchronization. Still showing the wrong time.

The second issues is that the signal strength of the wireless card is really weak. I had a Lenovo Y650 and the signal was always very strong. I compared them side by side and the Samsung couldn't even get a signal unless I was by the window (the router for that spot was in a different house). The Lenovo always connected. It was a 3 bars and sometimes 4. Is there any way I can boost the signal in this card? I'm almost considering returning the computer because of this issue.

Fixed time issue: Ok, I figured out what the problem was with the time. For whatever reason, there was an error when the clock was trying to synchronize. I manually changed the date back, and the time set correctly. I kept pressing the synchronize button over and over again, and it finally connected and successfully synchronized too.

Still hoping someone has some good advice on boosting the signal strength of the wireless card.

There are various threads about WiFi issues. Start with this one. Which model is your WiFi card?
