    UK: Good cheap sleeve for Q35, Q45 and Q70 (and other 12-13" widescreens)

    A common question is what sleeve to get for your notebook.

    While browsing UKDVDR (my main source of media) I came across this 14" notebook sleeve at a very attractive price (£2.89) so I added one to my order.

    It is a simple foam sleeve with an outer fabric cover. The outside dimensions are 35cm x 27cm. The Q70 just fits while the Q35 (and implicitly the Q45) will fit with a little space to spare. Including shipping it is only £4.99 (but if you add other items to the order then the shipping cost will go up). This sleeve won't win any beauty contests but it provides very affordable protection against bumps and scrapes.

    And for smaller notebooks there is a smaller sleeve (30cm x 25cm). However, it is too small for the Q35.
