Update plus was running constantly and seemed to be having a malfunction. I could not even disable it since every time I tried opening it, I got a message that updates were being downloaded and I should try back later.
So, maybe stupidly, I uninstalled it. The netbook is running much faster and without the problems I had before, but how do I get updates now? Any help, greatly appreciated!

You can check manually for updates. Either at Samsung's site or the manufacturer of the device (Intel for GMA for example).

I also removed the update plus when I had my NC10. Normally I don't update drivers if there isn't a real reason for it. Don't fix what ain't broken.

    Thanks, Phil
I called it update plus, but it's really the whole update manager. A pain in the... I'll look for drivers on the Samsung site, but what's "GMA?" I have an Intel "Atom" inside, according to the sticker on my netbook.

I was talking about the whole update manager. It's good that you removed it imo.

GMA is the graphics adapter but you don't really need to update that.

You can download the update manager from Samsung too afaik.
